Marketing Manager

This job contributes to brand success by being a strategic partner on the advertising and brand marketing team, building and implementing communications strategies and advertising plans that bring brand experience to our customers and drive our business forward towards our goals.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Builds brand value through advertising programming and multi-media content integration that supports key brand, and national promotional Retail and CPG initiatives to meet defined business and marketing objectives.
- Plays a critical role in driving towards ‘one voice’ strategic and creative integration across marketing channels, US Retail & CPG business units and international by leading rollout of advertising communications strategies and creative assets..
- Assists in building the advertising and consumer product promotions disciplines. Leads test initiatives to help determine future advertising investment, and helps build processes for educating the organization on the role of advertising and advertising effectiveness.
- Provides advertising, marketing and consumer product promotions insights and direction for cross-functional teams throughout the company. Acts as a strategic marketing consultant to other disciplines within the organization, and works as part of a cross-functional team to bring advertising, consumer promotions and brand initiatives to market.
- Interacts daily with seasoned creative and media agency team members.
- Manages relationships with internal and external creative teams, agencies and vendors to develop integrated customer communications materials.
- Responsible for agency management, program management and budget management for advertising and consumer product promotions activity. Develops, manages and tracks marketing budgets, timelines and processes from kickoff to execution. Establishes and maintains processes to ensure effective and timely development and execution of programs within defined budget constraints.
- Leads the development of multi-channel, integrated advertising and marketing strategies, consumer product promotion strategies and programming plans. Leads and develops additional advertising and marketing initiatives for the company or senior leadership as needed.
- Responsible for clearly communicating timing and process throughout the development of the integrated advertising and marketing strategies.
- Works closely with category brand management teams, digital marketing team, as well as PR and Consumer Insights. Communicates advertising plans and activities with other business units, departments, field teams and international teams on a regular basis to ensure integration and support for programs and initiatives. Ensures that established processes are communicated, understood and followed by key stakeholders.
- Presents marketing strategies and execution details to senior leadership, management, field and other departments.
- Leads effort to track marketing performance, gather consumer insights and analyze or evaluate program effectiveness. Shares findings with business units, and other departments and integrates findings into future marketing activities and initiatives.
