Marketing Manager

In this role, the Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) Manager, will focus on planning and executing relationship marketing programs and campaigns in conjunction with the Marketing team to drive business impact, build long term, meaningful relationships and improve customer and partner satisfaction.

We are looking for a marketer who possesses three key attributes:
1. Passionate Technologist – someone who can grasp a 100 level understanding of our commercial software and make them compelling to our enterprise customers.
2. Curious Journalist – someone who is infinitely curious and can ask the right questions to draw out audience, product and segment insights, to inform and infuse into the creative production process.
3. Creative Mind – someone who has a visual and impactful imagination and who can truly think outside of the convention.
The IMC Manager will have exposure to senior executives and be aligned against subsidiary business priorities, revenue goals, and customer/partner satisfaction metrics. The IMC will also have the opportunity to locally execute global advertising campaigns with the potential to influence bleeding-edge media innovation.

IMC responsibilities include:
Planning and execution of integrated campaign plans, relationship marketing, including segmentation, vehicle and media mix recommendation and execution, timing and forecast of results.

Integrated campaigns potentially include the following:
• Relationship Marketing
• TV Online/digital marketing/social media
• Events
• Advertising
• Outdoor and Digital out of home

Participating in development of overall annual marketing communications plan that details specific program and campaign activities designed to achieve agreed upon business objectives.

Project management of campaign management from inception to dynamic optimization. This can include:
• Development, management, monitoring and optimizing against a designed testing framework
• Status reporting, developing and monitoring work-back schedule and coordinating agency, external and internal teams to deliver campaigns
• Campaign set up in various marketing systems and tools, and leading virtual teams to deliver against specific V-team accountabilities
• Management of project related marketing budget and retainer with agency, monitoring campaign spend, invoicing and accruals against forecast

Review on-going campaign results and participating in analysis of performance and development of recommendations for optimization and future enhancements

Relationship management and integration with other teams:
• Work with assigned business/segment groups, including day to day contact, regular status meetings and regular program & campaign communications/updates
• Drive marketing campaign calendar to connect content and cadence by segment groups with partner
• Engagement with IMC peers to identify and implement integration opportunities within relationship marketing campaigns
• Development of relationships with global subsidiary peers to leverage IMC best practices and campaign activities as appropriate from other subs, as well as drive global integration
Management of agency, including:
• Day to day management of agency with agency account team
• Primary point of contact for agency during campaign execution
• Recommendation and management of annual agency scope of work; annual retainer recommendation
• Monthly financial review of retainer and marketing budget allocated to agency
• Coordinating weekly status meeting
• Monitoring of agency health and relationship status; building action plans to address engagement issues

Ideal candidate will have:
• A minimum of 5+ years of related experience working in marketing communications, across a variety of marketing communications disciplines such as Relationship Marketing, digital, events, advertising, or public relations
• Experience driving business results through sophisticated relationship marketing execution and/or loyalty programs, including management of database marketing resources, contact and content user experience strategy based on segmentation and/or behavior data; developing & delivering ‘personalize’ content on the web and delivering trigger-based/lifecycle marketing campaigns with ongoing improvement & measurable results.
• Ability to package results and reporting to show impact to business, as well as formulate recommendations for optimization
• Experience developing and delivery marketing plans to senior executive management
• Strong project management skills and prior experience developing and managing Integrated Marketing Communications plans/campaigns from planning through to execution of tactics
• Ability to work cross group and drive results across external and internal constituents via collaboration
• Ability to evaluate media capabilities of agencies and manage them to obtain optimal results
• Bachelor’s degree required. MBA a plus. Ability to package results and reporting to show impact to business, as well as formulate recommendations for optimization
• Experience developing and delivery marketing plans to senior executive management
• Strong project management skills and prior experience developing and managing Integrated Marketing Communications plans/campaigns from planning through to execution of tactics
• Ability to work cross group and drive results across external and internal constituents via collaboration
• Ability to evaluate media capabilities of agencies and manage them to obtain optimal results
• Bachelor’s degree required. MBA a plus.
