Marketing Manager

We are looking for a senior-level Marketing Manager with expertise in CPG and retail to support a global brand! This talent contributes to brand success by leading the development and implementation of integrated marketing plans and programs for a promotion, brand initiative, and/or category with specific focus on consumer packaged goods. Collaborates with teams within and outside the organization to plan and execute marketing strategies & programs including: digital, media and channel activation, digital marketing execution, social media, advocacy program building, event execution and planning.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Develops and manages multi-channel, integrated marketing plans for promotions or brand initiatives within the CPG or Foodservice channel. Creates and/or provides input to recommendations regarding marketing plan objectives, strategy, messaging, marketing mix, and tactics.
Develops, manages, and tracks marketing budgets, timelines, and processes from kickoff to execution.
Collaborates with internal and external strategic business partners to develop joint marketing strategies and plans.
Provides input to consumer positioning, creative brief development, and supports all-agency creative briefing. Evaluates creative concepts and final execution against the strategy.
Leverages consumer insights and applies research learnings to identify the target consumer and insights to inform the marketing plan and creative brief.

Summary of Experience
• 5+ years functional brand and promotional marketing expertise: Knowledge of direct or indirect retail, CPG and brand marketing. Progressive experience in marketing program development/planning and implementation. Communications planning and brand management.
• Strong communicator: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to confidently present objectives and desired outcomes to leadership and cross functional teams. Consistently uses communications and presentation skills to influence outcomes. Ability to influence others without authority to get things done in a timely fashion.
• Critical strategic and creative thinking: Ability to think strategically and creatively. Ability to problem-solve and drive towards resolution. Ability to write focused, strategic briefs, and evaluate creative and marketing programs against strategy.
• Business and financial acumen: Strong analytical and measurement/tracking skills. Conduct analysis and present data and findings clearly, concisely and accurately. Be able to draw meaningful conclusions and indicated actions, and set performance benchmarks.
