Marketing Manager

Working collaboratively with the Hardware Product Manager, Account Management, Retail Services and Business Management teams, the Hardware Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for consolidating all Mouse, Keyboard & Web Cam priorities into a single view for effective channel engagement and execution. The Hardware Channel Marketing Manager will play a critical role in identifying profitable market share growth opportunities across all categories and executing associated programs in market.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaboration with Product Manager to localize & execute Business Group (BG) worldwide marketing plans
• Collaboration with Account Management / Retail Services Team to ensure account plans are in place and in alignment with Hardware local channel marketing plans
• Partnership with Account Management to maintain planograms and strategic product assortment maps for each account
• Collaboration with Business Management to ensure accurate forecasts result in sufficient product supply in support of channel execution / promotion plans
• Participation in rhythm of the business (ROB) initiatives which include annual marketing & account plans, budget setting, quarterly marketing & account plans, business reviews, monthly forecasting and regular reporting
• Identification of market opportunities that deliver profitable share growth
• Driving account-specific program execution, tracking and reporting to deliver on category objectives
• Driving Mouse, Keyboard & Web Cam unit / revenue initiatives and managing associated channel marketing & rebate funds
• Driving training & merchandising strategy and select prescriptive programs with Retail Services and Account Management team

Qualifications:
• 4-year degree in Business or Marketing
• Minimum 5-years experience in marketing with focus on category or channel management
• Experience working directly with Account Management teams and / or retailers
• Demonstrated success in executing channel marketing initiatives with focus on ROI
• Strong understanding of Canadian consumer electronics / retail / distribution landscape
• Business acumen, customer / partner / team focus, strategic & creative thinking, results orientation

5-7 years work related experience in a leadership role preferred. Strong project management and strategic skills required. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must have the ability to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects. Must be detail oriented, have strong cross group collaboration skills, pro-active and managing multiple projects is a must. Must know how to prioritize tasks. B2B or B2C Marketing experience preferred. Marketing experience with high technology products preferred. Experience with Microsoft products preferred. Web/online (HTML/SharePoint) experience preferred. Master's degree in Business Administration preferred; Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field required.
