Marketing Manager

​For this assignment, Aquent's client is looking for a dynamic, results-oriented marketing manager to lead end-to-end campaign development and execution of retail promotions (seasonal, on-site sales, category promos) to drive new user acquisition and/or customer engagement and sales. The marketing manager must have a customer-focused mindset and experience developing data-driven, high-performing integrated campaigns through a variety of channels such as homepage promotions, emails, digital ads, push notifications, social media and more.

Overall Responsibilities:
As a marketing manager, you must possess a strategic, analytical mindset with an eye for creative excellence. You must be well-versed in marketing best practices, campaign measurement and analysis. This role will be highly visible and requires working with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in strategy, communication and design across user touchpoints. You will be expected to be a doer as well as a thinker, who does not settle for the expected and conventional, but works to own delivery and push ideas beyond the norm.

Top Daily Responsibilities:
-Develop and manage retail calendar; partner with merchandising and category managers on campaigns as needed
-Develop campaign media strategy and establish alignment with channel partners on launch timelines and assets
-Write creative briefs, work with agency to develop necessary assets, and project manage to ensure timely execution
-Work with analytics team to ensure appropriate customer targeting and campaign measurement
-Publish results and key learnings of campaigns for ongoing optimization
-Streamline campaign processes and cross-functional communication for faster future campaign execution
-Optimize campaign to improve ROI/ROAS performance and manage campaigns within budget

Required Skills:
-BA/BS degree, ideally in Business, Marketing, or similar field
-3+ years of analytics skills using Google Sheets or Excel
-3+ years of experience within a fast-paced team focusing on customer acquisition and/or retention and engagement
-5 + years experience in developing and managing integrated marketing campaigns; from developing media mix and creative strategy to project execution and measurement
-Experience with multiple marketing channels (e.g. email, push notifications, digital marketing, social media, site promos, etc) and working cross-functionally to achieve objectives
-Solid marketing campaign project management experience
-Strong cross-functional management skills, comfortable managing and communicating with multiple internal stakeholders
-Relationship builder with excellent verbal and written communication
-Results-oriented team player, not afraid to roll up sleeves to get the job done and execute flawlessly
