Marketing Manager

This job contributes to Our Client's success by being a strategic partner on the advertising and brand team. Build and implement communications strategies and advertising plans that bring the client brand experience to life across paid, earned and owned channels, while driving towards our business goals in Retail and CPG channels. Models and acts in accordance with guiding principles. Creative management experience 5+years; agency experience preferred.

Day to day:
Team of 4 who manage all of the out of store communication for the client. They manage things from the scale of a holiday promotion to one off sponsorship ads that are quick turn around. Primarily they will need to take in the brief and kick off the agencies and creative resources to get the cross functional alignments in order to release and approve the projects. They will be supporting team members and work together on a project or work with other teams to facilitate and support these initiatives.

Assist in the development of multi-channel, integrated advertising and marketing strategies, consumer product promotion strategies and programming plans.
Supports management of internal and external creative teams, agencies and vendors to develop integrated customer communications materials. Interacts daily with seasoned creative and media agency team members.
Ability to inspire creative teams and provide clear and constructive feedback to build ideas and guide work to deliver against key strategic objectives across all mediums.
Focus on executing with excellence, providing experience and discipline to the production process when bringing creative campaigns to life.
Develops, manages and tracks budgets, timelines from kickoff to execution. Maintains processes to ensure effective and timely development and execution of programs within defined budget constraints.
Responsible for clearly communicating timing and process throughout the development of the integrated advertising within cross-functional teams.


Ideal Candidate:
Someone who is familiar with production and planning (i.e needing a vision to line up baristas and aprons for a store shoot). They would ideally have agency experience and know how to work with creative teams and have cross functional team experience. They need to have a sense of urgency and prioritize the different projects that are constantly on their plate. They team typically has tight turn around, they need to have experience taking in a brief and turning around a proposal in two weeks (typical) but can be as little as three days. Divide and concur mentality, doesn't need 100% oversight at all times.

Background:
Project management/production management.
Open to individuals who have come from backgrounds that understand how creative agencies work and operate.
Prefer individuals who come from agency background who can guide and inspire the teams to get the work done.
They will be will doing a holistic view of managing the work flow and managing the intake.
