Aquent is currently seeking a seasoned Marketing Communications Manager help drive and manage content for an educational Web site with large Global Tech company!

Title: Marketing Communications Manager
Start Date: 10/3/16
Role Type: Contract
Hours: 40 hrs per week
Location: Redmond, WA


Description:
Candidate will be servicing our client's Education Team that looks at the strategy from k-12 (from university to grade schools). Approximately 450 field sales personnel are a part of this global team. This person will help support the sales team, corporate team, and the field sales team.

• Work with team to rework the education site, review content, and ensure correct placement of content. Work with appropriate team to get access to all of the content, and the content in regularly updated.
• Looking for a marketing and communications person to support
• Education Team site and construction (internal portal for all Education field sellers) and work with the corp edu team to source content, upload content and continue to keep the portal up to date and easily searchable
• Support Education social stories by sourcing educators WW to submit surveys to have their stories appear on a blog. this involves working with the audience team, working blog writers and connecting with education thought leaders. knowledge of blogs helpful
• Support Field readiness planning with the team to land with Field including readiness training videos, events and other content across all education team core priorities.
• Support Field communications internally by collating latest information from across the company, writing up email communications and distributing to teams. Ability to have some knowledge of Company technologies will be helpful to ensure the candidate has some background of what they are writing about.
• Other marketing and communications support as neededfull time position based in Redmond

• This person will need to be able to push and encourage the team to get updated content delivered quickly. This person will support and assist with building out readiness plan.
• Drive audience engagement, build a pipeline of people that can be on the blog and set up meetings to get the content done and uploaded. Will work with the engagement team to find who will be the feature piece/blog.


Top skills:
• Able to organize large amount of content, take direction and run with it with minimal daily management direction.
• Work autonomously – work across multiple teams
• Communications and/or Marketing background – able to meet deadlines, interact with multiple audiences/teams, able to develop and present content.
• Social Media experience – marketing, visually intriguing, content organization, and presentation
• Project management experience – Marketing Manager, able to take a task and run with it, and not need daily direction.


Years: The ideal candidate will have a marketing communications background and background 5-7 years of experience in this field.

Degrees: BA in Marketing or Economics
