Position Overview
As the Website experience & optimization Manager you will play a key role in executing the FY17 go to market roadmap with laser focus on end to end strategies and tactics to build a robust, intuitive digital ecosystem. You will collaborate with the broader GTM team and larger organization to drive synergy an recommendations to optimize wherever possible based on in depth and proactive analysis of key web trends regionally and across the globe. The position requires an eye towards increasing sales and lean testing to improve conversion. You will also oversee a small group of designers/developers and be charged with identifying, evaluating, and executing against aggressive digital goals.

Key Responsibility: Work with key stakeholders and internal departments to define Canadian web channel objectives, user experience and execution strategy. Manage day to day website updates, roadmap initiatives as well as testing plans to improve effectiveness of the web channel.

Role Accountabilities:
• Execute FY17 digital roadmap direct initiatives, while providing inputs into FY18
• Working with Telesales, inbound and direct response team(s) to plan out campaign support as well as drive lead opportunities bringing value by being the expert in the digital & online space.
• Owning the direct number: Traffic, QBO Sign-ups -Buy Now, Trials, Trial to sub conversion of the direct channel.
• Analyzing trends direct channel trends, reporting to senior management and digital channel colleagues to enable insightful direct channel sales forecasts, improve conversion and performance.
• Works with various teams to create breakthrough digital marketing programs integrating PR, social, blog, mobile, online acquisition, app stores etc.
• Adapt best practices from US, UK and other countries to optimize the Canadian website via our global web dev team and cross globe marketing partners
• Owning the pipeline to what goes on the web and allocating the right resources for the task (working with Agency/Global Web Dev/In-house contract resources) etc.
• Develop processes and procedures to ensure efficiencies in web execution and making sure projects are delivered on time with due process.
• Partner with analytics/other teams to ensure pages are tagged effectively to track back to business objectives
• Work with central team to recommend platform development to bring best in class tools & technologies to CDN digital team
• Work across teams to ensure website is in sync to hit major launch dates (regional & global campaigns, as well as technologies)
• Manage the rollout of content management systems, testing tools, and responsive design to empower regional marketing efforts
• Working with analytics team to develop effective hypothesis for A/B tests to increase funnel conversion rates by conducting landing page optimizations.

Qualifications
• Highly-analytical, digital enthusiast, problem-solver, creative thinker
• Intimate understanding of website working and digital/UX requirements for web channel success
• Comfortable using Site catalyst, Project Management tools, testing tools (optimizely), click tail, opinion labs etc.
• Willingness to roll-up sleeves and get work done
• Experience in working with the entire conversion funnel from lead generation to revenue creation
• Versed in both technical and marketing languages
• 5+ years experience in online/digital marketing. Web channel management a plus.
• BA/BS degree
• Exposure to CMS based solutions
• Must be familiar with databases and how built (conversion not development)
