Marketing Manager

We are seeking a Marketing Manager, who will be responsible for leading the marketing strategy for a range of exciting products in the networking space, with a centralized focus on routers and the popular and innovative Smart Wi-Fi portfolio and services. To support you in this role, our client is equipped with a group of bright, industry-leading experts in the fields of user experience design, consumer insights, graphic design, product management as well as sales management. You will manage all aspects of the brand in creating a pervasive experience across all touch-points.

Key responsibilities:

Drive best-in-class integrated marketing strategies; partner with product management and marketing teams globally to ensure success.
Develop message strategy, manage production of creative and deploy materials to internal and external customers; includes retail packaging, in-store merchandising, advertising, web content, launch kits and more.
See your strategy through to completion; make sure creative briefs and all marketing communication tools get created on-message, on-time and on-brand.
Drive consumer insights studies and apply findings to strategy.
Position and grow the brand in conjunction with product messaging.
Drive pro-active and consistent communication about Marketing initiatives, materials and messaging with counterparts in all global offices.
Select and drive cross-functional teams who will help you meet communication objectives: Marketing, Product Management, Graphic Design, Consumer insights, Sales, Trade shows and PR.
Drive and project manage the packaging design and development process.
Assist in developing, implementing, and stream-lining processes for packaging development and execution.
Demonstrate increased effectiveness and efficiencies throughout the system.
Works cross-functionally to train and develop new team members as needed to ensure packaging branding guidelines, legal requirements and quality standards are met. Establishes and maintains training materials and documentation to maintain compliance with the packaging process. Acts as the internal process champion.

Required skills and background:

5-8 years direct experience managing marketing projects
Experience successfully managing marketing projects on a global-scale
Experience managing direct reports and growing a team of high performing professionals
Bachelor degree in marketing or business administration or other applicable discipline
Superior writing skills – ability to pitch in and write marketing copy as needed
Strong project management skills and proven experience driving process and timelines
Detail orientation, with a strong focus on quality; and excellent proof-reading skills
Ability to work well with others in a fast paced environment; a confident team player who is customer focused
Must be flexible, open to change, and have the ability to shift direction and priorities often
Consumer products or consumer electronics experience is a preferred
