Marketing Manager

Our client, a major Healthcare company, is looking for a Marketing Manager for a contract to hire position. The right candidate will be responsible for marketing communications within their assigned areas and leads marketing programs, initiatives, promotions, or research projects. This position will be responsible for executing communications plans for assigned areas (audiences, positioning, messages, vehicles, timing and metrics), as well as assisting in the development of marketing communications tactics. This may include developing creative briefs, production schedules, and budget estimates. This role works closely with key areas in developing and implementing marketing approaches, e.g., product development, working with print production to ensure most cost-effective methods and may also manage and direct copywriters, designers, and illustrators, while securing final sign-off from subject matter experts, project owners, and legal. Candidate should be able to handle projects of moderate complexity and make recommendations relative to marketing communications strategy and execution for assigned client.

Responsibility:
- Work directly with key business and service leads, while translating what can often be complex objectives, into clear effective and focused messaging/communication strategies.
- Work with Segment Marketing, Product, Pricing, Underwriting and Operations team members to continually generate ideas and opportunities to innovate; which can include process, media, tactics and other ideas intended to improve the competitive position in marketing communications.
- Identify critical opportunities to communicate to internal audiences and provide editing/review support to ensure consistency of messaging.
- Ensure final sign-offs from subject matter experts, project owners and compliance/legal team.
- Evaluate effectiveness of current communication strategies and messaging/tactics and drive change as needed to properly support the channel and the customers.
- Partner with Brand to ensure consistency of voice across business advertising/communications and leverage Brand campaigns to support business goals.
