Marketing Manager / Web Strategist

Vitamin T's super hot sustainability client is looking for a WEB STRATEGIST to provide comprehensive coordination for the development and implementation of the company's web portal for a ONE YEAR CONTRACT position. The Web Strategist will work mostly within the marketing team, and with various stakeholders who use the website as a resource. Main responsibilities will include website content creation, collaborating with marketing manager on digital marketing projects, developing/managing RFPs for third party vendors, and collaborate on all web related campaigns. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Serve as a central point of contact for partners of the company. - Identify opportunities to facilitate collaboration with various partner organizations. - Work with brand steward to ensure web and interactive content is accurate and timely. - Work with Public Relations, Marketing and Advertising agencies to ensure website content is accurate and up to date - Manage the website update, approval and compliance process The Web Strategist supervises contractors, and will need to hire and direct their work on aggressive timelines effectively and efficiently. Manage web administrator portal and all website assets.

Other Requirements:
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES - Ability to communicate website strategy and lead a diverse team of online and marketing contractors. - Must be able to prioritize, organize and plan for effective implementation of projects and handle multiple projects simultaneously, within fixed time constraints. - Proven ability to communicate clearly, tactfully and persuasively to individuals and groups through all written and oral communication channels. - Must be a self-starter willing to go above and beyond when necessary to ensure success. - Ability to propose and develop new ideas or methodologies. - Ability to travel and to work flexible hours, as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field. - 3+ years of experience in website development, content management and online media - 5+ years of experience managing multiple communications and website projects simultaneously - Demonstrated marketing communications and website management experience - Demonstrated experience with content development - Demonstrated experience managing individual project budgets, utilizing market research to target specific customer groups, and implementing solutions to address changing needs - Experience organizing and clearly presenting information to the public. - Demonstrated experience managing individual project budgets requiring internal approvals and processes for competitive procurements, designing marketing plans, utilizing market research to target specific customer groups, and producing high quality, effective marketing campaigns - Proven ability to manage contractors and cross-functional teams - Knowledge of energy efficiency and renewable energy issues and related regulatory processes in California preferred COMPUTER AND/OR TECHNICAL SKILLS Demonstrated, highly competent abilities with various computer software programs and fluency in using standard office software packages such as MS Office: Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. Additional skills in collaboration and presentation tools preferred.
