Marketing Manager - Packaging

We are looking for a sharp, experienced, innovative, results-oriented marketing professional to join our clients team. This role will lead and execute marketing campaigns, with a particular emphasis on end-to-end management of our product packaging efforts. This individual will have a key role in driving the sales and mass consumer adoption. This is a unique challenge for a person with a broad set of talents.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects (strategic and operational) of the packaging creation process in order to achieve product goals.
• Own and drive all facets of the process including branding, cost negotiations, schedule management, approvals, research and analysis, refinement, etc.
• Manage external & internal agencies and creative partners.
• Partner with other internal functional groups.
• Create and write appropriate campaign briefs, project plans, and strategy documents.
• Develop, supervise, report, and continually improve upon analytical success metrics.
• Understand business, marketing, partner and legal constraints and opportunities to drive the growth of the product.
• Proactively plan to address new market opportunities and react to unforeseen challenges.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years experience in consumer marketing with digital/high-technology consumer products
• 3+ years packaging and/or marketing project management experience

Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
• Excellent understanding of consumer brand marketing strategies especially in the digital and high-technology space.
• Excellent understanding of 'big-box' retail.
• Ability to aggressively create innovative new consumer marketing programs that generate results.
• Experience creating and owning successful packaging programs and other marketing campaigns.
• High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
• Demonstrated leadership and expertise in brand building and marketing for a leading consumer brand.
• An advanced degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, or related field is preferred.
