Marketing Manager - Intermediate - 13746-1

As a community sponsorship marketing manager you will be supporting the senior managers in this group with the management of the programs and vendor relationships, application and proposal processes etc.

Group:
- Corporate sponsorships team
- Focuses on strategic partnerships and segments (i.e. of the segment would be women’s groups, military, financial literacy segments)
- Cross-pollination between the Bank and community/corporate sponsorship groups.

Day to day:
- Support role for Sr. Managers and Portfolios
- Building plans and budgets - Presenting plans to managers and stakeholders – prepare and track budgets & vendor payments.
- Working with external vendors - Develop and maintain productive and professional relationships with external organizations
- Program strategy development (Debriefing and follow-up – int/ext. – deliverables, timelines, status) - advertising, social media, corporate communications
- Developing stakeholder presentations
- Responsible for sponsorship proposal processes – responding to proposal requests, evaluation and responding to request solicitation.
- Assist in the management of activities related to sponsorships department (Develop, maintain and manage sponsorship calendar)
- Research – sponsorship programs, ensuring that community partnership information is accurate and up-to-date.

Top 3 skills:
1.) Background in marketing (ideally – sponsorship marketing programs – secondary: general marketing campaigns)
2.) Project management experience – marketing projects (coordination, managing timelines and deliverables) - Leads the execution of smaller, community focused sponsorships
3.) Written and verbal communications – funding memos, briefs, and presentations.

Managers wants:
- Detail focused
- Working with vendors: external partners (i.e. partner companies)
- Internal partners – representatives from the various LOBs – communications to these groups
- Technical competencies – PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
- Creating some content and building decks for presentations – may be presenting these decks to partners also (internal and external).
- Corporate marketing experience is the ideal experience – understanding of the layers of the corporate environment
- Agency experience could work also in that they will have the experience with working with vendors
