Marketing Manager - Digital Strategy & Operations Team

Come and work for one of the largest membership organizations in the United States! My client is seeking a seasoned Marketing Manager to sit onsite in their Washington, DC office. This is a long term contract opportunity.

Ideal candidate will be an experienced marketing team player with a "can do" attitude who enjoys a fast-paced environment to consistently grow traffic and engagement of client's Online via paid media, sweepstakes campaigns, social media, and email marketing. This position is ideal for a hands-on individual who can take projects from concept to implementation and management, and has a proven track record of simultaneously managing and delivering multiple successful across multiple vehicles.

DUTIES:
• Develop and implement marketing plans that will contribute to successful and profitable launches, including acquisition campaigns to grow client site registrants, visits, pageviews, and memberships.
• Manage, report & optimize online campaigns in both paid and non-paid, external and in-house vehicles, including email, display, paid search, sweepstakes, social and new media.
• Determine return on investment for marketing programs to optimize campaigns and make recommendations for future marketing campaigns.
• Manage creative, media and promotion agencies.
• Optimize for traffic and engagement using a/b testing and work with Test & Target and Audience Engagement teams.
• Develop creative and project briefs. Coordinate messaging & content in campaigns w/ Senior Marketing Manager, Editorial, and the agencies/vendors.
• Analyze and report on campaign performance on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Work with product management to improve conversion processes and other on-site improvements to facilitate acquisition campaigns for memberships & site registrants.

REQUIREMENTS:
• BA/BS in marketing or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 7+ years exp in online marketing with emphasis on direct response campaigns in a marketing/ad agency or corporate marketing department.
• Ability to think strategically, analytically and creatively is a must in this role.
• Strong understanding of email communication strategies -- both written and visual, deliverability, and segmentation practices.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, including experience using email distribution and reporting applications.
• Excellent project management and Microsoft office skills.
