Marketing Manager - Digital

Bring your digital marketing talents to the table by joining a wining and innovative team! Our client, the global leader in coffee has an immediate need for a Digital Marketing Manager to help in the development of content marketing plans for the app, and managing deployment of promotional campaigns and content on drive-thru screens. Utilizing cross-functional project management skills and digital acumen, this role will ensure that projects remain on schedule, on brand and well executed. This person will be planning and executing app based communication based on seasonal promotions and campaigns. Making sure that the app is leveraging promotional plans, using it as a channel, deciding on the cadence of notifications etc. Also working with the loyalty program to use the app to show different activities for points days etc.

Please note the client has requested work samples for this role to evaluate their projects that have been completed.

Summary of Key Responsibilities
• Leads development of in-app marketing content plans, from content calendaring and prioritization, to creative asset hand-off, to deployment.
• Manages deployment of drive-thru campaigns and content, from asset-gathering to overseeing publishing vendors
• Works in partnership with internal/external cross-functional teams including strategy, campaign planning, creative, analytics and agency vendors to communicate campaign activities, schedules and timelines
• Ensures deliverables are integrated into existing plans for streamlined execution
• Responsible for project management across all phases of creation and deployment; Including the following:
• Management of calendars and timelines; legal review submissions; internal reviews; and stakeholder feedback,
• Works closely with vendors to convey schedules, instructions, deliverables, segmentation, data, and more
• Building mobile app messaging using platform tools including messaging creation and list upload
• QA/testing of all mobile app messaging deliverables
• Archiving, reporting and optimization
• Tracks work-back schedules to ensure full end-to-end execution for all deliverables are met.
• Serves as quality control to ensure tests are accurate prior to deployment, legal requirements and brand standards are met, and user experience is correct
• Maintains library of documents, campaigns and assets in partnership with agency/vendor teams
• Looks for opportunities to improve processes and establish effectiveness/efficiencies across mobile app messaging strategy and campaigns
• Supports marketing managers in establishment and adherence to processes, ensuring effective execution of campaigns within defined budgets and timelines.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities

• 1-3 years prior experience supporting digital marketing communications within a corporate or agency environment (Would prefer client experience vs. agency experience, but will consider either)
• Multi-channel digital marketing and communications experience is vital. Having app related experience is VERY nice to have.
• Excellent project management, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and expertise in managing and prioritizing multiple projects/campaigns in a fast-paced, nimble yet deadline-driven environment
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; enthusiasm and ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team with capacity to build new and efficient approaches through industriousness and adaptability; Experience working with outside vendors/agency partners.
• Excellent communication skills; present ideas clearly and concisely, both in writing and in person
• Strong analytical skills; comfortable distilling data into insights/optimization opportunities
• Having both business acumen and communication skills to come up with the plan for bringing the campaigns through the app, as well as planning for the following season.
• Able to work cross-functionally with internal and vendor (agency) teams.
• Nordstrom, amazon, or target experience comes to mind as something that would lead to success (retail would be nice but not necessary). Manager is less concerned with prior retail industry experience, and more interested in candidates who have worked with multiple stakeholders at one time (dealing with diplomacy, understanding business impacts). Having multiple business units (ex. Microsoft store, web, email) is nice to have as well.
