Marketing Generalist

One of our valued clients in the oil/gas industry is seeking a Marketing Generalist for a contract role.

ACTIVITIES

Essential functions will include:
• Under supervision/direction of Sales and Marketing personnel, the creation of marketing banners, signage, point-of-sale collateral
• Assist with oversight of tradeshow graphics execution
• Development of standardized PowerPoint templates for use by marketing and sales personnel to ensure a common look/feel and consistency of key metrics and company statistics
• Selection and production oversight of promotional items for distribution at tradeshows, customer events and employee events
o Assist with planning and organizing event(s) as directed
• Oversee administrative tradeshow and event registration, lodging, registrations, etc.
• Assist with development of sales collateral
• Proofreading and assisting with drafting of sales collateral, website verbiage, advertisements
• Support updates to the iCostore, including development of notices, selection of promotional items, etc.
• Develop and maintain company calendar: Company Specialties trade show presence, Distributor events, Sales events, etc.
• Coordinating with Company Sales Regional Managers, assist with identification of potential trade shows and industry associations from which Company would benefit from participation
• Develop external communication – press releases, communication to distributors, power points for Sales Team, etc.
• Assist with graphic design
• Assist Digital Project Manager with SEO, SEM, UI and UX, as needed
• Assist with various ad hoc projects and reporting as required by Company Sales and Marketing






ACCOUNTABILITIES

The incumbent will be responsible for assisting with the implementation of Company's marketing communications activities; assisting with and contributing to brand promotion programs, event management for trade shows, conferences and distributor meetings; assist with development and coordination of press releases and advertising as well as web activities; and assist with updating sales support materials including brochures, product data sheets and other promotional materials including newsletters.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

The selected individual will have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university/college, preferably in marketing. Lubricants experience preferred. The incumbent should have 2 - 5 years marketing experience within a business to business environment and be a well organized person with good knowledge of marketing and promotional techniques. Past trade show marketing/coordination is a plus. In addition the incumbent should be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and proficient with cEvent, Adobe Suite, HTML, iMovie, Premier, or similar video editing software.


Very good communication skills – both verbal and written with knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
