Marketing Generalist

Our NY consulting firm is in search of a Marketing Generalist.

The contractor will be working for the US Creative Account Management team and interacting with US marketers to field various, creative collateral requests for digital/social/online, the Firms events and other marketing channels. The individual will gather requirements for small-medium sized projects and manage the execution and delivery of work performed by our internal designers, video team and outsourced website developers. The role is to serve as support to our Account Managers. The individual will be responsible for liaising with internal clients, project managing small to large scale creative projects and gathering research and data for digital solutions.

Comfort and knowledge of online marketing and the digital space including Social Media, SEO and Google or Adobe analytics is preferred.

Strong project management and client interfacing skills required. An understanding in Agile project management is a plus.


Makes independent decisions on the execution of marketing tactics and consults or escalates when appropriate. Must be able to handle and manage a high volume of requests via the workflow tool (Workfront). Has the ability to effectively cope with accelerating changes as required in a dynamic market and organization, alerting marketing leadership as appropriate and independently adjusting programs as-needed basis.

Skill Requirements:
Requires at least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a professional services environment.
Digital experience is a must.
Understanding of web technologies, website usability, metrics, SEO, etc.
Some online marketing experience is desired
Google or Adobe analytics knowledge a plus
Excellent customer service skills required
Ability to prioritize multiple projects under pressure
Attention to detail and excellent organization skills required.
Project management concepts and ability to apply with team projects
Problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal.
Highly self-motivated. Ability to work independently and interpret business requirements.
Knowledge of Workfront or similar task management tool a plus
Undergraduate Degree (e.g., BA, BS) or equivalent experience required
