Marketing Executive

My client, a a leading management and IT consulting and technology firm's global marketing team is looking for a Marketing Executive to help execute the global marketing strategy within its Global Industries Group. The role offers the opportunity to operate across the marketing mix, work with a diverse set of marketing and business stakeholders, and demonstrate the value of marketing in a professional services organisation.

Job Requirements

The Marketing Executive will be responsible for delivering key marketing activities across the marketing mix as part of my client’s global marketing strategy.

The role will involve working closely with the senior marketing manager for GIG (London-based), the acting energy marketing manager (Denver-based), the regulation campaign manager (London-based) and key business stakeholders (mainly UK-based in the energy team) to plan, execute and measure campaign marketing activities at a group level. This is a varied role with the opportunity to liaise regularly with the marketing team’s channel experts across digital and print media. Particular responsibilities will include:

Campaign management
o Working with, and managing, key stakeholders within the Regulation campaign and particularly the UK energy team to define and manage appropriate marketing tactics.
o Ensuring that campaign and sector tactics are delivered on time, within budget and realizing a good return on investment (ROI).

Event planning and implementation
o End-to-end planning and delivery of the company's-hosted marketing events, including driving and supporting business follow-up and post-event activity
o Leveraging the company's events across channels, particularly online, to increase effectiveness and reach of the event.
o Tracking marketing effectiveness and return on investment to inform monthly marketing management meetings and to shape future activity.

o Management of existing and development of new content on the company's website; maximizing the effectiveness through SEO, social media and other relevant techniques
o Planning and execution of direct e-marketing campaigns and initiatives

Internal communications and knowledge sharing:
o Organising physical and on-line marketing collateral so it can effectively be accessed by marketing and business colleagues.
o Planning and executing internal communications around key campaign tactics and major events to create the desired action or reaction.

Data management
o Working with the wider marketing and business team to ensure up-to-date and accurate client and target data available for us to drive Regulation campaign and energy events, direct mail and online activities.
o Ensuring that all marketing activity and leads are tracked on our CRM system.
o Working with GIG marketing managers to support roll-out and use of CRM system for marketing campaigns within the Global Industries Group.

• Minimum 4 years’ business-to-business marketing experience, ideally in professional services
• Experience of planning and delivering effective marketing activities across the marketing mix, particularly events and online
• Degree-level or equivalent and ideally working towards a recognised/accredited Marketing qualification or similar.
• Energy sector or other regulated industry experience a bonus.

• Knowledge of latest marketing communication techniques including event, online, web-based tools and direct mail
