Marketing Executive - 6 month contract

This is an exciting time for marketing at the Company. We are creating a new marketing team looking to build our brand and create new meaningful relationships for our business and recruitment teams. While we are getting the basics in place, we have a short term resource requirement for a Marketing Executive for 6 months to help with our day-to-day projects. Predominantly these will cover research, events, digital and content.

We are looking for someone that can advise on the best way to implement tactics so we get the best outcome, and then carry out that advice.

You will have a good background in general marketing, focusing on the four areas outlined previously, be energetic, excited, good at stakeholder management and able to work with minimal supervision.

Specific activities for the Marketing Executive include:

• Research –conduct research in line with sales support and business development briefs and translate into executive summary documents

• Events –produce events from concept to execution, and post-event evaluation. Events range from small roundtables and dinners, to attendance at large scale conferences and exhibitions. This includes qualification of event request, management of event logistics, maximising value and delivering to premium standard. The right person will be used to managing an event beyond its brief, innovating to create the right customer experience and maximising ROI

• Content – Researching topics, interviewing Newton’s thought leaders, creating the relevant content and managing stakeholders from concept to publication and promotion. The right person will be used to creating a wide array of content from case stories, to opinion pieces and thought leadership

• Digital – Creating and uploading digital content, managing pipeline of social media updates and newsletters.

Skills and experience:
• Solid experience in B2B marketing, preferably in a professional services or service-based organisation
• Demonstrable experience in interpreting internal briefs, advising and implementing on research, events, content and digital
• Ability to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced culture
• Ability to quickly develop strong and effective working relationships as stakeholder management to achieve the desired result
• Degree or CIM qualified (or relevant work experience)

Other information:

• UK travel and overnight stays away will be a feature of this role (approx. 4-5 times per month)
