Contract opportunity with Fortune 500 Social Media company in Mountain View!

We are looking for someone to assist with planning and execution, logistics, registration, coordination with internal and external team members, and post-event review, making sure conference themes are incorporated throughout and always reflect the company's culture and values.

This position requires excellent organization and communication skills (written/verbal), a passion for the event industry, and a general understanding of the nature of corporate events.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage contracts and payments with 3rd party vendors
• Provide registration support: Field internal/external questions, manage employee communications and perform list scrubs
• Assign onsite roles and responsibilities and manage the master schedules
• Coordinate the development, production and delivery of signage and conference materials
• Work with the Content Team for weekly updates to the event website
• Develop playbook with appropriate events details for internal stakeholders
• Maintain ancillary event lists
• Supervise the event Chatter groups
• Spearhead the in-office streaming parties

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-2 years’ experience with event coordination
• Proficient in Outlook, MS Office, and Google docs
• Strong desire and passion to contribute to the organization’s reputation and success
• Proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, changing work environment with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently
• People person – it’s second nature to you to roll up your sleeves, collaborate and get the job done
• Self-directed – have the ability to see what needs to be done two steps before we get there
