Project Overview 
As a Marketing Event Manager for 9+ months in New York, your role will be to help shape the future of how technology is used in the workplace and be part of an entrepreneurial team in a fast-growing business. Aquent's client's business helps millions of employees and organizations empower their employees, serve their customers, and build what’s next for their business — all with technology. 

Overall Responsibilities: 
Your responsibilities will include coordinating and executing marketing events, from top of the funnel demand generation through more intimate gatherings further in the sales process. You will be able to work closely with the rest of our North America Marketing team to understand business needs, help develop and execute marketing programs and report on metrics.

  • On-the-day logistics and staffing for the event 
  • Post event feedback, reporting and ROI analysis 
  • Work with marketing lead to manage event budget 
  • Specific execution and logistics: AV production, vendor management, logistics, invitations, catering, security, transportation, speaker travel logistics, evening events, signage/shipping 

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: 

  • Project managing all aspects of event production and content 
  • Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and partners to maximize results 
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing team to scale programs 

Required Skills: 

  • BA or BS Degree or equivalent practical experience 
  • 3-5 or more years of marketing experience: including digital and or event marketing 
  • Experience executing multiple marketing programs 
  • Superb Project Management skills: including managing agencies, vendors and Global projects 
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce.com or similar) and Marketing Automation tools (Marketo or similar) and tracking tools to assess campaign effectiveness 
  • Strong track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics 
  • Impeccable attention to detail 
  • Skilled communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills 

Nice to have / preferred 

  • Enterprise B2B marketing experience 
  • Technology Marketing experience 
  • Experience working with sales teams
