Our healthcare client, located in San Francisco, CA  has an immediate need for a contract Marketing Engagement and Delivery Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience  in project delivery for marketing and email marketing. Must have experience in Excel for budgeting and tracking purposes as well as MS Office. This client will require drug and background screening.  The Marketing Engagement and Delivery Specialist is responsible for marketing / product management efforts for assigned Strategic Business Unit or across multiple Strategic Business Units. Depending on level may lead cross-functional teams to develop, execute and measure annual marketing plans or new products that facilitate achievement of business unit and corporate goals. Accountable for some or all components in the marketing/product management life cycle; components include product maintenance, new or strategic product development, business case development and implementation activities for marketing products. Responsible for strategy, execution/implementation and measurement of marketing plans or products. May provide analytical and tactical support in the development of marketing plans/product plans. Interfaces with internal and external parties in the development of communications materials. Develops or provides oversight of third party relationships including contract negotiations and performance tracking.  Job Duties:  Reports to Sr. Manager, Marketing Engagement & Delivery Specialists  Responsible for specific marketing channel tactics and translating complex marketing strategies into tactical marketing plans to achieve specific acquisition and retention targets via optimal marketing channels  Partners with Marketing Engagement & Delivery Leads on the development of specialized project plans and steps to execute marketing plans based on channel tactics including preparing creative briefs, estimating costs, time schedules, resource allocation, and production schedules   Responsible for executing on operational plans to maximize and maintain channel investments   Manages the development of metrics that show how elements of the marketing campaigns, tactical plans and operations lead to achievement of overall marketing strategies   Ensures successful implementation including approving technical and artistic phases of marketing collateral and materials; tracking budgets and project deliverables / milestones; managing vendor and internal unit activities   Manages the analysis of results from large and complex marketing initiatives, campaigns, and programs; shares findings with management, Marketing Strategists, team members and other key stakeholders; translates findings into marketing messages that align with audience and line of business objectives   Actively pursue creative growth and development through experience, exposure, and education  Provide functional and problem-solving leadership with creative teams and project partners, including Marketing Engagement & Delivery Leads, Marketing Engagement & Delivery Specialist peers and Marketing Strategists   Works with Senior Manager to actively contribute to internal department initiatives, including updating and creating processes, creative outcomes improvements, documentation, tools, etc.  Provide alternative point of view if project work is misaligned or not in the best interests of the business partner  Develop client presentations in partnership with peers and team members • Present and explain creative rationale to individuals, creative teams, project partners, and leadership Responsible for assignments of moderate scope and complexity.  Works under general supervision and able to function independently to produce results that meet standards of quality, timeliness and acceptability.  Makes decisions on routine matters where established policies and procedures are available. Supports analytical work project, process management tasks, and third-party performance monitoring/tracking May coordinate projects  Ability encompasses broad knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures required within marketing / product management field.  Uses concepts and abilities as well as internal policies and procedures to complete assignments and solve problems. Other Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and minimal experience in marketing, product management or health care
