Marketing Editor

Our client is a large financial institution and they are looking for a Marketing Editor to join their team for a 12 to 18 month contract. This Marketing Editor role is 40 hours a week onsite and health benefits and 401K are offered through Aquent.

The Marketing Editor will support the Chief Investment Office with content generation and production. The Marketing Editor will need to be an energetic self starter, a team player and a leader that can handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The Marketing Editor will provide oversight to content quality and processes, and will work closely with the Office of the CIO to support the production of high-priority publications and presentations. 

* CIO Reports 
- Provide writing/editing support to high-priority routine publications and presentations to ensure pieces are professional, high quality, consistent and client-friendly 
- Work closely with Office of the CIO, Marketing content team and other business partners to ensure smooth and timely production 

Content Production and Processes 
- Ensure quality and consistency across all content pieces, e.g., template, tone 
- Maintain library of content elements (e.g., Framework graphics) that could be applied in multiple publications and presentations 
- Coordinate support (e.g., editorial, obtaining approvals, posting and distribution) 
- Manage adhoc requests and troubleshoot 
* Strategic initiatives 
- Support large scale strategic initiatives, e.g., Content architecture 

SKILLS OF MARKETING EDITOR:
- Strong writing and editing skills 
- Strong Project Management experience 
- Team Player 
- Detail and process oriented 
- Flexible and can handle fast-paced environment 
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat 

REQUIREMENTS FOR MARKETING EDITOR:
- Require a bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience 
- MBA desired 
- Worked in the Financial Services industry, Wealth Management industry preferred 
- Experience in Financial Journalism a plus 

The Marketing Editor will spend approximately 30 hours of the week editing financial reports and 10 hours a week marketing (including writing communications, putting things through compliance) etc.
