Marketing Director, Online Programs

A Vitamin T client located in Washington, DC is looking for a Marketing Director of Online Programs to join their team. This particular client is helping education leaders enhance every aspect of the teaching and learning experience. Their broad reach covers traditional, market-leading e-Learning solutions, in addition to mass notification, campus security, and commerce. They are dedicated to fostering a culture of lifelong education and growth.

Reporting to the Engagement Director/General Manager of online program management, the Marketing Director leads the overall development, planning and execution of client marketing strategies and lead generation activities. By developing positive client satisfaction in achieving marketing objectives, s/he serves as the lead client contact for all marketing-related responsibilities, ensuring success of online degree programs at partner institution.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensures marketing strategy and deliverables meet client's objectives and drives the business forward
• Manages Institution and 3rd party lead generation and student recruitment teams to develop and implement enrollment and recruiting strategies for Institution online programs
• Leads marketing budget and forecast planning through monthly / quarterly goal setting to achieve desired enrollment and revenue targets
• Proposes, develops, and executes marketing solutions across a variety of marketing channels including SEO, SEM, email, affiliate marketing, display, social media, and traditional marketing through strategic partnerships
• Manages creative development process and agency relationships to ensure client brand, positioning, and messaging freshness and consistency across all touch points
• Spends time onsite with clients on a regular basis to lead presentations, strategic discussions, and reviews of project delivery, research, analysis, and best practices
• Defines and develops measurement models and uses analytical approach to evaluate performance, optimization, and alternatives
• Ensures consistency and accuracy on all marketing proposals by working closely with the marketing team.

EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree required (emphasis in business/marketing a plus); MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of interactive and traditional marketing experience with agency experience a plus
• Previous experience in education industry (preferably in higher-education environment)
• Direct experience in driving marketing strategy & budget optimization for an annual budget of $10MM+
• Experience in search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) engagements, and display media
• Experience in managing and developing a team
