Marketing Director, Content & Creation

Lead the brand marketing efforts for beauty collection – our private label brand - to drive sales, new client acquisition and loyalty. Deliver marketing thought leadership and guidance to grow the brand by optimizing marketing levers, Rewards Program clientele and outbound initiatives. Build 360 degree plans to deliver business objectives, working across all cross functional departments including creative, merchandising, and digital marketing.


Drive leadership position in the industry by helping to define and articulate a unique positioning approach to our private label brand and implement that POV across all marketing touch points
Lead brand development leveraging client insights, articulating business success metrics, and implementing marketing tactics
Act as a storytelling expert developing campaign messages for the overarching brand, hero categories and individual product launches that can be translated across stores and digital channels to attract, compel, and inform clients

Own partnership with creative in building all brand assets for the in-store and online experience to tell key product/marketing stories each season
Build full 360 degree marketing plans to help drive awareness and sales, utilizing both marketing levers and outbound marketing initiatives, including but not limited to PR, stores/animations, advertising, online marketing, video, social media, and sampling/promotions

· Ensure all major merchandising initiatives for the brand are properly supported by marketing

· Oversee procurement and management of Beauty Insider sampling and promotional plans for the brand

· Work with analytics and market research teams to generate insights and hindsight’s on the brand to inform merchandising and marketing decisions


· Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in beauty and/or brand management required; retail marketing experience preferred

· Experience bringing new products to market, as well as marketing of existing products/brands

· Strong digital, social media and non-traditional marketing background

· Experience with, and full understanding of, concept is preferred

· Creative self-starter; ability to work in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

· Proven ability to lead, build relationships, and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment

· Exceptional project management experience

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to travel as required

· University degree; MBA preferred
