Marketing Director

BRAND STRATEGY & CORPORATE IMAGE
• implement brand strategy – including thought leadership – educating our prospects, centers and clients on our mission through digital strategy as well as being the driving force behind our event strategy
• Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials and events, infusing our brand strategy in all that we do
• Assume overall responsibility for taking our corporate goals into account and developing and implementing the annual marketing strategy to help us reach them – includes strategic market planning, market research programs, forecasting and control of the marketing budget
• Adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
• Develop ongoing liaison with GV Leadership, business developers and advisors to ensure that significant developments in the industry are identified and monitored.
• Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends, including monitoring competitor products, sales and marketing activities

LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT
• Provide planning and leadership to the Marketing Department by ensuring that the appropriate structures, systems, competencies and values are developed in order to meet and exceed the goals of the Marketing plan
• Guide the day to day activities of the marketing team, ensuring that marketing objectives are implemented
• Responsible for performance appraisal of marketing team members and for providing training and development opportunities to team members

COOPERATION WITH BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & Advisors
• Work closely with the company’s Business Development Executives and Advisors; enable them to meet their objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations

TACTICAL MARKETING
• Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition
• Establish a system of reports and communications for all information from the marketing team to the sales team and for feedback and request from the sales team to the marketing team.
• Organize and direct marketing and strategy meetings on a regular basis whereby the strategy and promotion programs are reviewed.
• Report on marketing committee and strategy group activities to senior management.
• Reviews and analyzes marketing performance against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.
• Plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities included in print, online, electronic media and direct mail
• Prepare new event and thought leadership marketing plans for introductions in cooperation with senior management

Requirements of role:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Sales or Business with a minimum of five years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities
• Demonstrated in-depth expertise in marketing techniques and financial principles
• Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles
• Confident, driven and dynamic leader
• Effective ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-management, internal and external customers
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to spot original branding opportunities
