Marketing Director

Aquent is partnering with a top Oil and Gas service company’s software division to identify the next Marketing Director with three-fold responsibilities over global marketing’s digital demand execution including content distribution, lead and demand generation, execution and conversion This position will not only transform strategy but also build and lead a transformative marketing organization.


As the Marketing Director, you  possess the proven expertise for taking customer experiences to the next level. The right candidate will be charged with two missions: (1) Strategize, craft, deploy, measure and optimize digital demand execution using data-driven global and enterprise-wide level marketing and customer engagement campaigns, and (2) build a cohesive customer centric marketing team and organization– driving both effectiveness and efficiency. (S)he will be charged with building strategies, linking marketing investment and customer engagement to business outcomes, and ultimately attracting, retaining and growing profitable business through attribution models.



  • Transforming, leading and strategizing marketing campaigns with new and unique customer-driven perspectives.

  • Designing and building an inspiring customer vision, creating new relevancy within the organization and field.

  • Instilling a vision within the marketing organization as well as the overall sales organization, gaining consensus across departments.

  • Driving leads throughout the sales and marketing lifecycle, optimizing touchpoints across all digital channels

  • Creating communication strategies for different audiences and mediums, and working with team to manage customer communities across digital channels such as social, advertisements, customer portals, and extranet sites.

  • Optimizing overall marketing engagement through the use of relevant data.

  • Guiding the evolution of digital demand program, across content distribution, demand execution and post demand analytics to improve sales conversion and overall customer experience.

  • Planning and executing customer webinars, digital events, and annual innovation forum.

  • Documenting existing operational processes and identifying improvement opportunities, capturing details and creating accurate project documents.

  • Serving as operational liaison between Marketing and other functional areas that partner on key customer portal functions (Client Support, Sales Operations, Product Development, etc)

  • Researching new solutions and discovering new capabilities to enhance digital CX



  • 10+ years’ experience with marketing leadership roles

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business or related; Master’s degree preferred

  • Experience transforming marketing vision within a in B2B Saas environment

  • Proven leadership skills; ability to create consensus within C-level

  • Demonstrated experience and success in creating and driving business and customer strategy, as well as in integrated, digital campaign activation and measurement.

  • Excellent writing skills and proven success creating effective communications

  • Experience developing and managing multi-faceted programs for customer community and customer experience improvement, including emarketing, virtual/physical events, and thought-leadership programs.

  • Experience with tools and platforms that support B2B SaaS client portal and online communities, such as Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, Webex, and Confluence

  • Ability to manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities

  • Strong proficiency with MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
