Marketing Database Analyst

Data Consultant for our Consumer Loyalty and Retention team within Direct Marketing. The Data Consultant designs studies to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns; performs campaign analysis in SAS; consistently completes deliverables on time; and maintains relevant campaign documents on an ongoing basis.
This contract position may convert to FTE status.

All candidates should have at least 3 years of experience, with at least 1 year in a related position. Candidates must have experience working with SAS. An ideal candidate will have relevant marketing experience (e.g. marketing management, campaign planning, execution and/or analytics in a direct marketing context), and will understand how to analyze a direct marketing campaign.

Major Responsibilities:
• Under supervision, collects data and conducts quantitative and qualitative analysis of marketing programs
• Uses multivariate statistical analysis techniques to analyze data and produce preliminary reports
• Write and gives presentations
• Contributes to problem solving and process design efforts
• Assists in development of data collection and analytic tools
• Performs marketing campaign management activities using database management tools

Top 5 daily responsibilities:

Required Experience:
1. Previous experience with SAS (at least one year)
2. Proven ability to interpret data and express implications of analysis to clients

Preferred Experience:
1. Prior experience in direct marketing, reporting, market profiling or general analytics

Required Education:
•Required: Bachelor’s degree
•Preferred: Master's in relevant field
