Marketing Data and Analytics Consultant

Aquent's financial client is looking for a candidate who develops and maintains the marketing department’s systems, processes, and reporting environment. Works with all levels within the department and other key stakeholder areas to gather, analyze, and interpret data to measure strategy and assess results. Provides timely and accurate analyses to support key business initiatives, including pilots, programs and cross-functional activities. Gathers and manages large volumes of data, and performs complex data analysis and interpretation of results to reveal new findings and insights and highlights business implications. Manages cross-divisional projects and assists in setting direction for business process improvements, systems enhancements, and new small projects.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in Management Information System, Computer Sciences, or related field. Minimum of eight years experience in progressively responsible roles in systems, client computing or data analysis roles. Expertise in multiple development or analytical tools such as Microsoft BI, SAS, Excel, Access, Visual Basic. Subject matter expertise with marketing concepts, such as prospecting, client segmentation, promotion, client loyalty. Excellent analytical skills, and strong detail orientation with an ability to handle and deal with large amounts of data, unstructured business problems, and synthesize data for others. Ability to convey analytical and technical concepts to non-analytical and non-technical staff. Demonstrated ability to deliver results and recommendations in written, verbal and presentation form at an appropriate level for a varying business audience. Strong process and project management skills, including an ability to gather business requirements, and execute small projects. Ability to run multiple projects concurrently and to adjust work load to changing priorities. Ability to run multiple project concurrently and adjust work load to changing priorities.
