Marketing Data Manager

We are seeking a Marketing Data Manager for one of our San Francisco Bay Area clients, an e-Commerce payment management company. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility for extension. Onsite work is required (40 hours/week). In this role you’ll be a key lead in the worldwide corporate marketing operations team, supporting strategic, cross-geo data management objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner across WW Marketing Operations team, cross-geo Marketing, Sales Operations and IT to evaluate global marketing-sales databases and data-related systems; create actionable plans that ensure that data quality, consistency, hygiene, and segmentability is core to everything we do
- Propose, gain consensus, and roll out globally-consistent data management infrastructures, systems, processes, and best practices; propose innovative, realistic tactics that create the highest levels of global data alignment
- Support global marketing programs teams with data-driven initiatives (targeting, segmentation, campaign sizing, propensity modeling); manage list request processes and best practices, and create and maintain high quality lists and data filters to support for innovative programs execution
- In alignment across Marketing & Sales Operations, develop and implement global data strategies that support Marketing Automation initiatives (scoring, nurturing, triggering, gating, etc.) and cross-CRM-MA initiatives (contact cleansing, data normalization, data dictionaries, master-slave models, etc.)
- Develop data governance and management strategies and best practices that ensure clean, usable data feeds into MA, CRM and Data Warehouse systems; advocate within WW teams to help maintain global consistency
- Contribute to WW Marketing dashboards for data-related KPIs and metrics
- Develop a marketing data management and segmentation toolkit to support new geos with limited capabilities
