Job Title: Marketing Data Analyst

Duties: The Marketing Analyst will be responsible for developing, optimizing and executing marketing automation projects and other targeted segmentation projects for our Marketing team. This is a technical operations role that sits within a global team and will work closely with marketers and technical subject matter experts.The Marketing Analyst will also help drive actionable measurement, analytics and insights for the digital components of marketing activity while providing optimization recommendations.

General Responsibilities:
Marketing campaign operations tasks such as; list preparation, quality control, data manipulation, data cleanup and other tasks related to marketing campaigns
Build marketing automation projects
Analytics and reporting tasks such as; contact strategy, digital marketing response, match back reporting, simple modeling and trending analysis based upon online behavior
Provide optimization recommendations to business partners based upon analytics and reporting data
Assist in the adoption of new digital marketing technologies and ensure we exploit the full capabilities of new technologies to drive commercial impact
Facilitate the vetting, adoption and migration of measurement and analytics tools and technologies including Unica and Cognos
Work across global, regional and subject matter experts to ensure projects are accurate and done in a timely manner.

Skills:
BS in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Marketing, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, Engineering, etc.)
4-5 years of experience in marketing operations (and/or marketing IT) with a focus on: o data collection (extracting and manipulating large datasets) o data analysis (using Excel/Access/Reporting Tools) o data interpretation and communication skills; ability to summarize complex findings clearly and concisely
Experience working with data structures and analyzing data from a business perspective
Intermediate to advanced knowledge with MS Access and/or Basic SQL
Advanced knowledge or MS Excel (ie., macros)
Experience working with Unica Campaign (segmentation tool) or other related software (Epiphany, Aprimo)
Proficiency with reporting and business intelligence tools like Cognos, Business Objects, etc.
Experience working on consumer relationship marketing programs including responsibility for measurement, tracking, reporting and ROI analysis across multiple channels.
