Marketing Data Analyst - Email Campaign

Our Digital Sales & Marketing client team in SF is looking for an experienced Marketing Data Analyst - Email Campaign Management to manage campaign programs involving:

database marketing
marketing analytics
data mining

Key experiences our client is looking for:
Automated campaign management application; ideally IBM Campaign (aka Unica Affinium).
Understanding data structures and analyzing data from a business perspective.
SQL - extracting and manipulating large datasets for analysis.

12 month contract (40 hours/ week onsite)
San Francisco
Rate: 90K-130K+

Key Responsibilities:

1. Campaign Design and Strategy
-Consult with the Email Channel Management team to confirm and finalize marketing campaign requirements.
-Determine/select data sources required to meet campaign specifications.
-Translate marketing campaign requirements into campaign targeting/selection rules.
-Receive and QA any external data files (e.g., line of business files).
2. Campaign Build and Execution
-Finalize campaign requirements with Email Channel Management.
-Build campaigns in IBM Campaign (aka Unica Affinium).
-QA campaign build.
-Route waterfall counts and secure approvals.
-Execute campaigns ensuring 100% error free work.
3. Campaign Results Analysis
-Support analyses involving campaign response data with Email Channel Management.
-Work with the Marketing Execution Team and email vendor to resolve any data issues in their response data.
-Develop expertise on campaign results and drivers of performance.

Qualifications:
-4+ years database marketing, marketing analytics, and data mining experience.
-Strong experience understanding data structures and analyzing data from a business perspective.
-3+ years experience working with an automated campaign management application; ideally IBM Campaign (aka Unica Affinium).
-3+ years of SQL and with extracting and manipulating large datasets for analysis purposes. -Demonstrated Campaign management experience working with non-technical marketing professionals. -Ability to translate between the business and technical communities.
-Email marketing execution experience.
