Our client is seeking a copy editor with blog writing and Wordress experience to work on their small and mighty content team that sits within the brand team. The focus of this role is editorial in nature, providing direction for the posts that involves copy editing and producing posts on their Wordpress site. S/he will produce branded content, mostly around their blog and product content working across 15 product marketing managers, while upholding the brand's voice and style. This team is the gatekeeper for Atlassian marketing content.
Primary areas of responsibility:
-Daily copy review, formatting, and publishing on the blog via Wordpress
-Provide editorial feedback and direction in line with the style guide and blog audience
-Management of editorial calendar and design resources
-Prep weekly email newsletter for our blog subscribers
-Work with Product Marketing Managers on their blog plans, calendars, and content
-Partner with Social Media team on promotion of blog content
-3-5+ years of web copy editing experience
-Blog writing experience
-Wordpress CMS experience
-Program and project management
Nice to haves:
-Content Marketing experience
-Social media experience, e.g. facebook, linkedin, twitter
-Familiarity with data analytics to gather insights and next steps from how posts are performing
