Marketing Coordinator/Specialist

The Marketing coordinator will be a pivotal member of the lead generation team for a large telecommunications company based in Midtown, Atlanta. They will focus on initiatives to drive lead generation and customer acquisition. The position is tasked with a broad variety of marketing related activities to support a wide range of marketing program types and operates within a deadline driven environment.

The perfect candidate will have a degree in marketing or a related field and 2+ years experience in a Marketing role, applying that strong foundation to contribute to the success of the organization.

Essential Job Functions Include:
Assisting Marketing Managers in execution of programs including, but not limited to
Proofing direct mail pieces
Quality control of lead aggregation
Keyword research
Mass Media traffic coordination
Trade show logistics
Prepares periodic and ad hoc marketing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing marketing and sales data
Assist with presentation assembly
Document and maintain marketing calendars
Additional marketing related projects as assigned
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading trade publications.

Specific Requirements, Skills & Education:
Familiarity with core Marketing concepts
Strong written and oral skills
Proficiency with Excel
Knowledge of PowerPoint a plus
Ability to work within a team as well as independently
Ability to meet deadlines
Desire to stay on top of emerging concepts, trends and best practices within the Marketing field.
