Our client, the leading brand of automotive benefits specifically created to enhance your vehicle buying and ownership experience is seeking a full time marketing coordinator/event planner to add to their team. The company provides vehicle service contracts (frequently referred to as extended warranties), paintless dent repair, key replacement coverage, personal assistant service, and more.

Position Objective and Description:

The Marketing Coordinator will participate as member of a team of professional, dedicated employees managing internal and external marketing efforts. This position must utilize skills including team-based interaction, project management, goal setting and administrative support. The Marketing Coordinator must have the ability to work under pressure, demonstrate active listening and exhibit organizational skills. This is a demanding and diverse role that includes a mix of administrative tasks, project coordination and creative work.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Create and manage project plans for various marketing and event activities.
Coordinate events, meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and organizing requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; managing mailing lists to ensure event success.
Provide administrative support to each member of the marketing team as needed.
Assist Communications Manager in updating office communications posted throughout the building, including but not limited to the all bulletin boards, bathroom communications, and community televisions.
Manage scheduling for monthly “Employee Spotlight” with partner brand.
Assist in updating information on the employee portal and run monthly and ad hoc.
Maintain email lists for internal and external communications.
Track customer complaints, forward to customer service and follow up to ensure resolution.
Manage the monthly awards process.
Provide support in social media monitoring process as needed.
Assist in collating marketing materials as needed.
Maintain files for graphic related projects.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities (e.g. reading trade publications).
Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for completion of new and different requests.
Maintain records of press coverage.

· Basic knowledge in graphics arts software (Adobe, Wordpress) and HTML for website applications or willingness to learn.

Bonus but not required:
· Experience using CVENT event management program
· Experience using Salesforce
· Writing experience is a plus.
