Marketing Coordinator, Retention

The purpose of the Marketing Coordinator, Retention role is to assist in the development and execution of retention campaigns to drive continued and additional revenue from individual supporters in our database.

Primary responsibilities:

- Facilitate supporter events and services/site visits, including management of related collateral.
- Implement retention fundraising activities into market, across all channels, on time and within budget to meet annual financial targets.
- Retention fundraising activities include DM appeals, telemarketing campaigns and advertising through Traditional and digital channels.
- Investigate new campaign opportunities and channels, to increase the revenue from the from individual supporter database.
- Assist with campaign administration including tracking of invoices and budgets and coordinating briefs.
- Manage, track and analyse budgets report any variances and risks to the Marketing Manager.
- Develop post implementation reviews of all retention fundraising activity to ensure future strategy and tactics are in line with business needs.

Skills & Experience

- Bachelor qualification in Business, Commerce or Marketing
- 1-2 years Retention Marketing (loyalty, upsell, cross-sell) or Direct Marketing experience preferred.
- Experience coordinating and executing marketing and fundraising campaigns
- Experience in developing, coordinating and executing cross –channel (online and offline) direct and digital marketing campaigns and budgets. (one year minimum)
- Strong project management skills
- Significant capability in managing marketing communications in digital and on-line environments.
- High level of understanding of brands, marketing and communications
- Good knowledge of print/digital production
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills; team player with experience in developing good working relationships
- Strong time management skills and experience in working to specific deadlines and timeframes.
- Track record of creating strong internal and external relationships
