Our client, a top investment organization, is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and organized Marketing Specialist to join their team. This role is for someone who is excited by the challenges of establishing new marketing initiatives and is excited about the opportunity to help create the marketing style from the ground up.

Still interested? Good! Now let’s get to the nitty gritty with a list of some of the day to day activities;

Working hand and hand with the retail channel teams to deliver materials for programs in support of our retail distribution efforts.
Supporting one or more of our focus channels - US Wirehouse, IBD, RIA, and Private Wealth channels.
Working in close partnership within the Retail Channel Marketing team and with partners in key accounts, sales and other areas of our broader Marketing department (data, design, compliance and digital).
Play a key role in executing marketing strategic plans, individual campaigns, communication and messaging direction across functions, and materials to enhance and accelerate our sales in our focus channels.

Sounds awesome right? Now let's look at some of the primary responsibilities:

Partner with Channel Marketing and Sales Leadership to drive channel marketing strategies by working with sales teams to identify, build, deliver and measure against comprehensive channel marketing plans
Partner with Sales and Database Marketing teams to develop understanding of advisor (as well as competitor) behavior, particularly focused on barriers and triggers to use of Dreyfus mutual funds, and how these vary across segments
Partner with Product Management and Investment Strategy teams to underscore consistent messaging across materials, mediums and market segments. .
Manage channel-specific marketing and value-add campaigns to support Investment Management initiatives as well as product and thematic campaigns across retail channels.
Partner with Editorial, Digital Marketing, and Marketing Services teams to build, package, and delivered innovative and targeted content across mediums to enhance reach and impact within respective channels/segments
Support key account teams to customize client events and engagement including social media strategies, creating innovative platforms to encourage meaningful client feedback, and follow up strategies to capture and promote product momentum across retail channels.

Last but not least, the job requirements (how we will get you in the door for this awesome opportunity!) You are the person we want if you have the following experience:

BA / BS or equivalent required
1-3 years of experience in creating marketing materials, preferentially in financial services firms with multiple investment products, servicing multiple distribution channels.
Experience producing marketing output for investment products such as mutual funds, SMAs, , equity, fixed income, and alternatives at a retail firm.
Results driven individual with emphasis on test-learn-refine.
Experience with project management
Strong written and oral communications skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage changing requirements and short timelines a plus.
Ability to act tactically and think holistically.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
