Marketing Coordinator

The Global Marketing Services (GMS) Department exists to raise the standards of excellence for Marketing, driving positioning of our global brands and to provide a center of expertise for our businesses. Our Global Web & Digital division supports external web properties, digital/web marketing, analytics and other digital asset management systems/tools. The Marketing Coordinator will report into the Manager, Global Marketing Content Strategies, located in Waltham, MA. This person will be responsible for but not limited to coordination and support of our internal and external document distribution process, communication, process improvements, project coordination and some quality/performance checks.

This is an Entry Level temp position with an expectation of minimum of 6 to 12 month commitment with the potential to turn the position into a permanent role based on performance and availability. This includes a brief summary of some key focus areas:

• External/Internal Web Documentation: Support publishing, revising and quality checking existing / new documents.
• Communication: Coordinating and sending internal asset launch emails / follow-up check-ins (Constant Contact).
• Governance: Ticket/data management, process adherence, training and periodic checking/organizing new or existing information.
• Analytics: Coordinating with analytics team on reports, trends and surmising potential needs for improvement on data, assets or adoption strategy
Digital Project Coordination
• Support key projects by helping coordinate activities: help build project schedules, remind stakeholders of deadlines, help coordinate project interdependencies, draft minutes in important project calls, etc. Responsibilities can grow with time.
Vendor Management
• Maintain list of vendors with contact information and ongoing projects
• Organize vendor payments
• Check accruals with team

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Marketing or a related field with at least 1 year of marketing experience
• Exposure to Internet, Digital Projects and Project Management-type skills
• Experience with Adobe and Microsoft Office Suites (SharePoint experience a plus)
• Knowledge of digital media and marketing
• High level of computer competency for Windows and iOS
• Ability to work globally with diverse client group within and outside of the GMS department.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to take analytics/data, draw insights and make recommendations
