The role of the Specialist is to oversee the operations of the Account team and portfolio of advertiser accounts. The Specialist is responsible for developing client affiliate program strategy in order to drive success. Additionally, the Specialist handles all high level opportunities and negotiations with publishers. The individual is also responsible for driving new product adoption, up sells and renewals for their portfolio. As the main point of contact for the client, the Specialist is expected to develop the relationships throughout all levels in the client organization. Reporting directly to the Specialist are team of Associate employees. Specialist also works cross functionally with Creative, Publisher Development, Sales, Network Quality and Interns. Reports into Manager.
Responsibilities:
· Develop client strategy and tactics needed to meet client revenue, growth and ROI goals
· Resonsible for fee revenue goals and client retention
· Responsible for day-to-day operations, process and management team
· Analyze all reporting/data to evaluate client and publisher segment performance, and determine areas of opportunity and risk
· Negotiate high level affiliate placement opportunities to ensure positive client ROI
· Guides affiliate recruitment and segmentation strategy
· Provide affiliate program recommendations and new product opportunities
· Develop test plans and recommendations that drive learning and optimization
· Draw insight from program results and ensure dialogue with client and internal team on informed strategic implications
· Lead weekly client calls and present quarterly business reviews and quarterly recommendations
· Ensures ongoing program optimization is executed by team, guides affiliate recruitment effort, and recommends promotion strategy and other unique opportunities.
· Responsible for providing weekly client reporting, preparing quarterly business reviews and leading client meetings.
· Sets division goals and benchmarks for success
· Present to and educate clients on Affiliate principles, tactics and strategies on varying levels based on client knowledge and needs
· Responsible for overall client satisfaction and retention and renewals
· Travel to on site client meetings and reviews, and industry events
· Assist with employee growth and development
· Monitor executions of teams; providing leadership, ongoing feedback, effective motivation, training of staff members
· Stay informed of industry changes, and educate employees and clients by documenting and sharing pertinent industry information
