Marketing Coordinator

One of the fastest growing specialty insurance company with nearly 300 employees in offices in six major cities across the US is in need of a freelance Marketing Coordinator.

Principal duties and responsibilities:
• Create and edit marketing collateral which articulates the company's unique value proposition including print, email, web, video scripts
• Manage review and approval process with all stakeholders
• Event/Conference/Sponsorship support – drafting invitations, working with designers to develop ads, ordering food, manage branded merchandise needs, signage and coordinating event logistics.
• Email marketing – support monthly email broadcasts and work closely with third party vendor
• Web – assist in managing/editing/updating content
• Video – assist in concepts/objectives/script drafting and working with 3rd party vendors to produce videos for marketing/brand use

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
• Strong command of basic Marketing principals
• Current professional Marketing experience in a professional marketing, sales or customer service role within the insurance or financial services industries
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Copywriting in digital/non-digital medium
• Digital – understand and have knowledge of HTML, SEO, SEM, content management systems (Rhythmyx knowledge a plus)
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment and with staff and third parties at all levels
• Strong computer skills – full command of Microsoft Office software/Outlook/internet, Familiarity/knowledge of graphic design software would be a plus.
• B.A./B.S. in Business, Economics, Marketing or related degree.
