Marketing Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for providing marketing coordination, project management and execution support for Marketing Managers as assigned and administrative support for Vice President of Sales and Marketing.


RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MARKETING COORDINATOR:

• Ensure the accuracy, quality and timeliness of various marketing and advertising programs in support of Marketing Managers and Vice President.
• Assist with centralized coordination of resources and communications associated with various marketing and advertising programs in support of other internal and external constituents.
o Taking the minutes from each meeting and issuing those minutes.
o Updating marketing planning calendars and promotional schedules in Microsoft Excel.
o Ensuring media placement calendars and flow charts are up to date.
o Coordinate and schedule meetings/appointments; create agendas and meeting materials as needed.

• Assist Vice President with matters related to the Marketing Department including but not limited to executive level administrative support, calendar management, meeting planning and preparations.
o Overall Department communications, marketing planning, program development, workflow tracking and project management.
o Preparation and maintenance of status reports.
o Assist and coordinate new Store opening procedures with the Marketing Programs Manager; media plan executions and vendor interface.
o Providing Franchisee marketing support, including coordination of call schedules.
o Record keeping preparation of proposals; preparing PowerPoint presentations.

• Support Marketing Programs Managers as assigned with coordination related to planning, offers, creative development, proof reading and finalization, execution or placement, confirmation, status reports, internal and external communications, budget management, record keeping and reporting associated with:
o External marketing including but not limited to radio, newspaper inserts, direct mailers, outdoor billboards, sponsorships, etc.

• Coordinate the development, placement, production and distribution of external marketing.

• Ensure communications to all internal constituents by email, a proprietary process and other methods.
o Digital marketing including but not limited to email, text, social media, etc.
o Cross-marketing Alliance, partner support and other loyalty programs.
o Handling local sponsorship packages and proposals; trafficking to RDO’s and DM’s.
o Manage the market specific and store specific request process.

• Supporting other managers in other departments within Holiday as needed.
• Assist with additional marketing programs, initiatives, special events and projects as needed.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Ability to plan, manage, execute, administer and report on marketing initiatives

• Ability to prioritize work load

• Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office including superb Power Point skills
• Strong PC skills with ability to learn various software packages

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:
• Familiarity with standard concepts and practices within the field of marketing
• At least 2 years experience within a corporate marketing or agency environment
• 4 year degree in marketing or related field preferred
• Exposure to media planning and/or placement experience is a plus
