Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator will work directly with the marketing team to support them in the implementation and coordination of marketing initiatives for brand projects, all with a goal to increase awareness and drive customer trial and sales.

Responsibilities

- Work with management and agency in coordination and execution of customer marketing programs and promotions: pull imagery and logos, proof work, pull or request sales data and assist with back end reporting, be present on agency and customer calls as needed.
- Work with management and agency in coordination and execution of customer POS signing, renderings and POV’s.
- Maintain product image portal and brand assets, provide images and logos to sales and other teams as needed.
- Coordinate and execute in-store merchandising projects, working with sales, marketing and merchandising co. partners. Report progress during execution, following up on any issues. Report and analyze final findings.
- Work with management and agency in the update and maintenance of consumer brand websites. Review monthly website analytics information and report ongoing performance metrics, identifying challenges, wins and opportunities.
- Research and compile competitive information, including but not limited to: promotional and cross branded promotional programs, advertising initiatives, online and social presence, on-floor POS and branding in order to inform future programs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing activities in terms of sales results, consumer response, and other KPI metrics.
- Review retailer websites for correct branding, imagery and product information on a quarterly basis and report issues.
- Administrative purchasing and budget-related tasks: SAP purchase processes and sales dilution GTN/Credit Memo creation, tracking and follow-through.
- Maintain Minneapolis marketing sample inventory and distribute samples as needed.
- Market Track circular ad analysis – as needed and quarterly reviews of circular activity by brand and by retailer.
- Act as support in development of department presentations and materials as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to communicate effectively with both internal and external partners.
- Must possess Microsoft Office Suite skills for reporting and analysis of marketing performance.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple projects.
- Ability to work with budget and purchasing/payment processes – knowledge of SAP a plus.
- General understanding of graphics programs and file types.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new software quickly.
- Strong customer service orientation with effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be detail orientated, meet deadlines and handle a variety of responsibilities.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Must have 3+ years of Marketing or related experience; Advertising/agency or Mass Channel experience is a plus.
- Must have a general understanding of Key Performance Indicators and how it pertains to the success of marketing activities
