Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Brand Management team of Disney online Mom and Family Portfolio marketing team. Properties in the team’s portfolio include Family.com, FamilyFun.com, Babyzone.com, DisneyBaby.com and a new suite of web and mobile tools and utilities under development.

QUALIFICATIONS
· College degree

· 2-3 years working in marketing or related field

· Experience and knowledge of web site technology, design and production

· High proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint

· Experience working across functional areas, including design, production and analytic teams, to meet deadlines

· Experience working with strong brands and a general understanding of the Disney brand

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

· Excellent organizational and project management skills

· Critical thinking ability and basic data analysis

· Demonstrated interest in Internet and/or kids entertainment



RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide support for acquisition and promotional marketing efforts, including:
· Work closely with Creative and Production teams to develop and track marketing creative

· Manage feedback and approval process for marketing creative and deliver final assets to production teams for implementation

· Produce and oversee contests and sweepstakes from initial creative to developing and executing promotional plans to fulfilling of prizes.

· Contribute to marketing plans, including email marketing and campaign strategy, as well as execute content planning, media placement, asset creation, asset tracking, reporting, and campaign reviews.

· Partner with the analytics team to produce detailed reporting and analysis for all marketing campaigns including testing and optimization of tactics, evaluating response rates and ROI

· Partner with editorial and product teams to promote campaigns and optimize placements across the portfolio




Provide general marketing support, including:
· Manage the house media rotation daily operations –including uploading of assets, tracking and analyzing performance of media and provide on-going reports

· Support agency and vendor management

· Route projects for approval

· Catalog creative assets related to marketing promotions and campaigns

· Manage promotional calendar including social media for the Portfolio including: liaison with content producers, scheduling ads with art department and overseeing creative for all online advertisements

· Provide reporting on page-view driving marketing initiatives and how those initiatives have impacted site traffic and guest behavior. Initiatives include special promotional newsletters (FOBs), sweepstakes, contests, user-generated content, ad performance and social media promotions.



Additional marketing responsibilities include:
· Creating synergy opportunities, including partnering with the lines of business across The Walt Disney Company to develop cross platform campaigns that meet the marketing goals and objectives

· Participating in internal and external meetings such as daily scrum/agile meetings and brainstorming sessions with cross-functional teams including advertising sales, editorial, product, tech and creative.
