Title: Channel Marketing Coordinator

Summary of Position: Responsible for coordinating channel marketing efforts reporting to the Channel Marketing Manager. Work with department marketing managers and coordinators on executing marketing campaigns including print/direct mail, display advertising, social media, banner advertising, website, and chapter marketing programs; with a specific focus on digital/email marketing and external advertising. Coordinates trade show related activities and logistics and is the primary chapter marketing support resource for the department.

Position Responsibilities Including but not Limited to:
• Coordinate the clients advertising (print/electronic) and sponsorship efforts including:
o Researching publications/web sites for best placement options
o Monitoring trade publications for competitor ad campaigns
o Managing ad placements/schedules/deadlines
o Support negotiating ad placements
o Working with marketing team and designer to develop ad concepts and text
o Developing text for sponsorship e-mails and text links

• Coordinate development of and placement of Clients Journal house ads, inserts, carrier sheets and belly bands
• Secures list rentals for marketing-related blast e-mails and write email text as needed
• Assist with direct mail promotions involving list rentals; secure lists and coordinate process
• Coordinate efforts around segment-based marketing for use within the department
• Coordinate with CP on maintaining marketing database
• Become a SME on the clients Informz email platform and manages the ‘inventory’ for all email and communication templates
• The keeper of the email schedule for all emails (Informz messages)
• Coordinates all emails sent through Informz or through third-party vendors
• Coordinates development and evaluation of the chapter marketing assistance program
• Responsible for the the clients marketing email box; reviews daily; distributes requests and ensures follow up
• Coordinates all aspects of the clients booth presence at internal and external events including:
o Assisting with strategy and setting metrics as well as researching best and relevant shows to attend
o Coordination of all contracts and manages all tradeshow forms and paperwork
o Coordinates all preshow and post-show trade show details to team members and others as needed
o Collaborate with the appropriate managers and other related personnel to finalize overall messaging and logistics of trade shows
o Coordination of staffing schedule; working with chapter volunteers for staffing
o Ordering necessary furniture, electric, Internet connections, etc. from exhibition company
o Maintaining booth structure (design) and related structures, signage and materials
o Coordinating and developing materials specific to each show including the list of booth-related materials and ensure their shipment/delivery
o Work with marketing managers and web team to develop show-related landing pages
o Trade leads and support ROI analytics
o Other duties as assigned
• Evaluate return mail and advises when issues arise with specific lists
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field preferred
• Previous, proven marketing production experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong, proven computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Detail minded and organized
• Team-player
• Strong proof-reading and editing skills
• Conceptual thinker that takes initiative and seeks possible solutions
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, handling multiple projects, tasks and deadlines
• Local travel (when requested)


Working Arrangement:
• Position requires employee to work on-site vs. remotely.
• Employee agrees that overtime may be required.
