Marketing Coordinator

Our large financial services client located in Owings Mills, MD is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for a 6 month contract position with potential for extension. This is a 40 hour a week, onsite, M-F, contract role. 

The Marketing Coordinator manages smaller projects and components within projects as well as provides support on larger campaigns. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for relationship management and the highest level of quality control to ensure the timely and accurate production of each project component. The Marketing Coordinator judiciously negotiates timing with shared services and has a basic understanding of the content and business objectives through their knowledge of the industry, marketing and distribution channel. Marketing Coordinator support helps to leverage the time of the Lead Manager and Senior Manager by managing the development and execution of individual components so they can focus on more strategic thinking. 

Through collaborating and working with key stakeholders, the coordinator ensures campaign components (e.g. digital advertising, email, direct mail, public site messages, content development, etc.) are moving through the system efficiently while following all applicable process, procedures, rules, and compliance requirements in the journey toward market release.The coordinator will review and test components to ensure they are high quality and on-strategy. They will route campaign components across marketing, legal and other stakeholders and consolidate feedback to share back with our partners. 

The coordinator will manage schedules to ensure tasks and deliverables occur on time to drive to a timely and successful launch of all tactics and components. Coordinator will constantly monitor and report on progress to all project stakeholders, including regular and consistent communication such as check-ins/status meetings, dashboard, and post-launch analysis and recommendations. 

Qualifications: 

 Marketing experience required, including proficient understanding of multi-channel, integrated programs 

 Project management skills, detail-oriented, execution-oriented and organized 

 Ability to build, manage, and maintain healthy partner relationships 

 Diplomatic communicator 

 Responsive and efficient 

 Flexible, but assertive 

 Strong written and oral communication skills 

 Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a matrixed work environment 

 Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously 

 Performs well under time-sensitive deadlines
