Marketing Coordinator

Large Media and Entertainment brand in Burbank is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join their Engagement Marketing Team. This is a temporary role slated to go 5 months, but could extend.

As a key contributor to the Engagement Marketing team, the Coordinator provides campaign support to the marketing managers to help bring priority campaigns to life. The Coordinator serves as the Engagement point-person for all campaign asset management and maintains detailed documentation, grids, and calendars across paid media, YouTube, events, and partnerships while consistently contributing to campaign ideation and engagement marketing innovation. 

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain up-to-date campaign documentation & engagement calendars for coordinated scheduling and messaging to deliver a cohesive consumer experience across all platforms.  Responsible for:

  • Brand Design Grid for all campaign requests (paid, CRM, partners, events, etc.)
  • Paid Media Grid and Spot Grid, including detailed specs
  • Campaign one-sheets (ie. snap shots) and execution decks
  • Contribute to internal team highlights to senior management, as applicable

2. Coordinate campaign asset development & creative needs for engagement marketing team efficiency and strong communication flow with partner teams.  Responsible for:

  • Creating work orders using our project management tool (Marketing Resource Management) for graphic and video requests
  • Working with content producers on various deliverables (TBC)
  • External Partnerships: Coordinating with outside creative vendors, agencies, and activation partners for campaign executions
    • Schedule kick-off calls and provide asset packs as needed
    • Route creative elements internally and provide consolidated feedback to vendors
    • Create Contract Requests, as needed (w/ Content Coord. support)
    • Onboarding and ongoing vendor management, as needed (w/ Content Coord. support)
  • Premiums: Work with premium team on development of new premiums for campaigns
    • Handle requests from external teams of premium items
    • Track inventory, develop packing slips, item codes and inputting new WBS numbers for premium catalog
  • CRM planning and management
    • Work with Brand Design, Franchise, Digital and Social to craft campaign
    • Develop and manage deployment calendar for priority campaigns (in coordination w/first-party data team)
  • Ensuring appropriate internal creative approvals for all campaign assets  

3. Campaign asset trafficking to ensure correct asset delivery across programs. Responsible for:

  • Trafficking paid media elements to media agency via FTP site
  • Uploading campaign elements for International partners
  • Uploading & tagging videos in YouTube for Paid Media campaigns and other unlisted video placements
  • Synergy - Manage and traffic media for cross-company partners

4. Key contributor to shaping innovative marketing concepts across the Engagement Team

  • Contribute to brainstorm and thought starter sessions
  • Monitor and share what’s top of mind for our consumers, including competitive campaigns and emerging trends
    • Present information in meetings such as our Competitive Update Monthly, Engagement team meetings, Worldwide Download, Marketing & Creative All-Hands, etc. on occasion
    • Contribute to Dedicated Monthly Engagement Top 10 newsletter
  • Monitor and elevate innovations as well as emerging technologies and platforms and how they could apply to how we reach our audiences

5. Additional Campaign Support:

  • Server Management: saving all documents and organizing server
  • Updating Priorities board with current campaign highlights
  • Broad event support as needed


Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • TV Marketing/Paid Media experience 
  • Microsoft suite knowledge: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Keynote 
  • Be able to work with a Mac and PC 
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment 
  • Strong multi-tasker 


Required Education: BA in related field or relevant experience
