Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator role will have the following primary responsibilities:

  • Assists in the set up of marketing and advertising strategies through the creation of a rolling calendar of future activities that include weekly product promotions and events all geared toward driving sales of key products, attendance and membership totals
  • Manages all social media, in-store marketing, and print digital advertising
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
  • Creates and maintains a library of promotional items, high-res pictures, videos and promotional description sheets
  • Researches competitors by identifying and evaluating pricing, advertising and running promotions
  • Monitors effectiveness of promotions, advertising and social media by collecting, analyzing and reporting on all data available
  • Coordinates graphics and marketing to ensure all brochures, flyers and promotional materials are designed to clients' standards and in ample stock; communicates with each department to define requirements for the creation of future materials
  • Coordinates web development and all changes and creations in content or graphics, including newsletters and/or email marketing
  • Conducts customer reviews and market surveys to assess customer satisfaction, identifies areas of improvement, polls for new product placement, and analyzes overall company standing among popular opinion

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field and 1-3 years marketing experience or an Associate’s Degree and 3 years related marketing experience or a combination of education and experience necessary to successfully perform duties
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Working knowledge of website management, social media and graphic design desired
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.  Also, desired proficiency in database software and Photoshop (or other similar software)
  • Requires attention to details and ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively
  • Must be a team player
