Marketing Coordinator

Our large financial services client located in Owings Mills, MD is looking for a Marketing Coordinator for a 6 month contract position with a high likelihood of extension.

This position’s primary responsibility is to assist our clients Investment Product Group with the creation and maintenance of the components within the product-based selling system. The ideal candidate will have not more than 3-5 years experience as a Marketing Coordinator or Project Manager using web-based tools like PM software or CMS’s.

Job Duties
• Provide regular updates to marketing collateral
• Collate and send background documentation to vendors/partners
• Complete and manage requests related to supporting the selling system (PAF, image keyword searches, etc.)
• Post finished goods to the company intranet and communicate their availability
• Update and distribute product-oriented outperformance claims
• Maintain list of selling system inventory
• Document and update repeatable processes
• Facilitate legal reviews and adhere to compliance guidelines and maintain records in a compliant fashion (retention, FINRA filing)
• Assist product marketing team as needed

Required skills
• College degree, 3+ years’ relevant experience
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced environment
• Quick learner and self-starter
• Strong communication skills
• Process oriented, yet flexible to adapt to changing environments
• Deadline driven
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to work both independently and within a cross-functional team
Additional Details:
• Knowledge of marketing principles
• Financial services or investment background Agency experience
