Marketing Coordinator & Assistant

Our client's global marketing division is looking to hire a Marketing Coordinator to support two of company's top marketing executives. This will be a 6 month contract with potential to extend longer, and offers W2 pay and full benefits.

Summary of Role:

The Marketing Coordinator provides the full range of administrative support to the Global Marketing team and provides project co-ordination and support. The primary purpose of this role is to help the Global Marketing leadership team with the smooth running of the marketing function and to act as a connector and catalyst for the wider global team.

Main responsibilities:

• To coordinate and support projects and activities driven by the Global Marketing leadership. This project work will be diverse in scope and content as it will provide support to each of the global centers of excellence, Brand Strategy, Customer Marketing, Creative Services, Campaigns and Research. Activities will vary in nature depending on the needs of the business.
• This person will also work closely with and support the Strategy and Planning Director within the Marketing Excellence team to ensure smooth running of projects and the function more broadly.
• This person will support the Global Marketing team with key administrative duties including:
o Managing monthly expense reporting on behalf of Global Marketing leadership team
o Act as the key liaison with Finance on expense reporting and invoicing.
o Organize and communicate events for the function
o Assist with the planning and logistical arrangements for Marketing function events
o Provide travel support for the leadership team
o Assist in development of workshops and meeting materials and synthesis of outcomes

Desired qualifications, skills and experience:
• Excellent organizational and planning skills. Knowledge and experience of project management processes desirable.
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work globally.
• Self-starter and problem solver with a strong results-driven work ethic.
• Superior time management skills and the ability to prioritize.
• Excellent attention to detail and high production values.
• Proficient in Microsoft and Google ‘Office’ software and tools (particularly Excel and PowerPoint).
• Energy, enthusiasm and a passion for and interest in brand and marketing.
