Marketing Contractor - Enterprise Privacy

One of our Fortune 500 Financial Services clients is looking for a 6-week Contractor to support Enterprise Privacy Team

Summary:
The Marketing Business Risk unit is seeking a privacy professional to serve as a Contractor – Enterprise Privacy and Non-Solicitation. The individual will help promote compliance on digital websites, mobile applications and enterprise marketing strategies by providing support for the Enterprise privacy team. Such support activities include but are not limited to assistance with Monitoring Activities, Complaint Management, and Privacy Vendor Risk Assessments.

Specific Duties

1. Privacy Monitoring and Complaint Management
a. Assist Privacy team with monitoring of policies, procedures and processes where needed
b. Assist with development of Privacy Program Manual
c. Privacy Impact Assessments
i. Review new technology project proposals that have a Privacy and/or Do Not Solicit impact (PII is handled) and ensure compliance with Privacy regulations (CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GLBA, UDAAP, etc.)
ii. Conduct risk and control self-evaluations and document in the PIA
iii. Act as the liaison between project managers with questions/concerns and the business partners/technology consultants where necessary
iv. Provide strategic guidance to ensure Privacy by Design is incorporated in all projects
d. Privacy and Do Not Solicit Complaints Management
i. Review monthly reports of Privacy and Do Not Solicit related complaints
ii. Select a sample to conduct call listening sessions
iii. Document any trends or recurring issues/themes to be corrected 30%

2. Vendor Risk Assessment Evaluations
a. Assist in risk assessment of current and new vendors where PII is handled
b. Review Customer Data Release (CDR) process and vendors
c. Ensure contracts are in place with appropriate Gramm-Leach Bliley Act (GLBA) required language where applicable
d. Work with Information Security and other Business Units to verify that requirements address what actual needs are to ensure consumer PII is only collected, shared and stored as needed 70%





Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years credit card/financial institution experience preferably in Data Privacy, Information Security, IT, Marketing, Compliance, or Internal Audit areas
- CIPP certification a plus or seeking to obtain
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

- Excellent organization skills, self-starter and highly disciplined
- Proven ability to work effectively with managers at all levels
- Active listening skills
- Ability to work with numerous people and on multiple concurrent assignments
- Demonstrated analytical abilities, both qualitative and quantitative, with the ability to use innovative approaches to finding practical solutions
